of Saturday Night's Raid.
There was plenty. of business before
the criminal common pleas court at
the opening session of the October
term yesterday. Several of the women
who were caught in the Bank street
raid of last Saturday night were sen-
tenced. Joe Lion. the Fairiield ave-
nue laundrymnn. who in the lower
court. was found guilty of keeping II
disorderly house. secured a continu-
ance oi the case until this morning.
“Dolly Gray." who real name is Mary
Smith. was charged with frequenting
a disorderly house, and lined $30. which
she paid. Angus Rosebush charged
with keeping a disorderly house at 36
Bank street. was fined $126 and given
two months imprisonment. Daisy Fern
was fined 37 and costs and given 20
days. Leonard Wood was lined 3100
for keeping a disorderly house at 9
Bank Street. Thomas McNamara was
fined :16 and costs for treouenting one
of the places raided. Martin Stone.
whom it was alleged assaulted Jos-
eph Harrington a Salvation Army Sol-
dler. was given 15 days. Victor Cross
was sentenced to six months in Jail
