are five patients from the town of Dar-
ien in the institution. it is some
years since the selectmen have paid
the insane hospital visit. .Darien

sixty years of age and therefore went
there. when only about twenty. Her
case is a hopeless one. For twenty
consecutive years she was confined In

She has torn her cars from her head
by piecemeal and has lacerabed her-
self in a horrible manner at. times.
