tries mine. Knowing. that a fair-minded
class of people believe that there are
two sides to every question, i pray of
you to permit me to present my side.
My residence in Stamford began
nearly th1ee years ago. At that time
i had money. and friends, and reputa-
1iou. i hustled and worked as never
did a man before. and built up what

less of this. i put my shoulder to the

that i had been made a scapegoat by

that history would repeat itself once

The first of the civil courts to come
in for business will he the common
pleas. Judge Howard J. Curtis will
hold short calendar session on Friday,
Sept. 19. (loses may be claimed for

week and assignments will be made

There has been a lot. of new business
returned for this comt since the vuca~

added to the docket, so that with the
old cases there will be plenty of work
on hand for the court if the lawyers
