out at 11:50 last night in the plant. of
the Bridgeport Wood Bending Com-
pany. located on John street, in me
immediate business center of the city.
A second alarm was turned in bringing
out the entire fire-lighting force, with
the exception of two companies locat-

threatening the business center was-
sufficient to create alarm. and it was
not until 1:20 a. m. that the tire was
