Attorney John J. (luneo returned this
morning, from New Britain. where he
has been engaged in a $5,000 law suit,
which is returnable to the superior
court, at Hartford. on the first Tuesday
in September. The suit is brought
through Attorney Cuneo. by Peter
Piedmonte. against the Donnelly Brick
Company, of New Britain. Piedmonte
was killed about a year ago, while in
the employkof the brick company. His
duties were to wash brick moulds and
carry them from one yard to another.
In doing so be had to cross a shutting.
Over the latter a bridge was made and
one day while he was crossing it, the
planks broke; and he was buried with
such force around the shutting that he
was almost instantly killed.
