taken it he did so. Dr. W. D. Duff has
been shot and killed by W H. Clark a
farmer. Dr. Duff had formerly prac
ticed medicine here, but recently re-
moved to Blockion. ill feeling had
existed between: the two men and
when the doc tor departed the. farmer
promised to kill him it he 'ever came
back. When Clark learned that Duff
had returned be borrowed a shotgun
and locating the doctor in a drug storq
he entered and lined two shots at him.
