the C. O. D. list which is made up ev-
ery week the witness declared. Tsmme
said that the increased price of meat
was out of proportion to the increase
in the price of cattle. He said one hun-
dred butchers. in St Louis had gone
out of business. and that the Mound
City Packing Company .and the North
St. Louis Packing Company had also

stock then fell a fraction lower. North-
western was up 91%, and New Haven a

tional losses amongst the imp rtant
stocks. Changes in the Cooler were
maintained and were restricted to frac-
tions except for the sale of 2 .000 shores
of Reading. at 66% to 85%. compared
with 06% last night.
