vices in the Advent Christian Church.
The morning sermon was from the text
found in Malachi iii. 17. "And they
shall be mine saith the Lord. in that
day when I make up my jewels. and I

own son whom he cherisheth.“ From
the preceding verso. (16th) he showed
the “they“_ of the text, to be those who
fear the Lord and do his pleasure.

in the text. Continuing he urged up-
on his hearers the necessity of a close

ation from worldliness. in order that
the day may not come upon them un~
awares, and they fail to be among His
iewcls. He also emphasized the fact
that the prophetic signs. which tell of
events which would precede that day.
