threatening to kidnap his son unless

was deferred.
Last June .vir. Barton got several let-
ters demanding money. and the final
one ordered him to drop 58.000 in hills
in a package. under a designated tree
in Elm Park. at a certain hour of the
night. lie reported to the police and
detectives were on the ground when
Mrs Fisher picked up a decoy package
that Mr. ilarton had placed under the
tree. Buzzo was in company of the
Fisher woman at the time. and both
