of state health :laws for towns. Pre-
vious meetings oi? like nature have been
held the past few days in Hartford and
Falrtlold counties, and there is to be 11
similar meeting in Litchilold county ho-

So far 100 of the 168 towns in the
state, have, through their health om-
cars. subscribed to the present schedule
of twenty laws, but with'somc of the
other towns there is a conflict of opin-
ion. and'agsln, In some towns, espec-
ially those located on the shore. there
are special laws for special purposes
which do not apply in the least to in-
land towns. It is in an endeavor to
adjust thcss minor dliferencss that
these meetings are being held. The re~
suit will be a uniform code.
To adjust these dilsrencss a meet-
ing will be held in this city Monday
forenoon. at which will be present two
health smears from each town. They
will agree upon the health law which
they wish to- have in force, and their
report will has ubmittsd to the state
board of health. and in this way the.
matter will be satidsctorlly adjusted.
