Thompson S. Grant, comptroller of
the state, has issued his annual report
for the fiscal year ended September 30,
1900. He says:
"The receipts front all sources for
the civil list funds during
year ended September 30. 1900. (not
including the balance of $682,884.01 in
the treasury October l. 1899) were
$2.876.856.83. an increase of $1706.20.
leaving a balance in the treasury to
the credit of the Civil List Funds Sep-
tember 30; 1900, of 31.631.226.71. Thu
excess of receipts over the expend!-

$348,312.70. making a corresponding in-
