The day before the battle finds the
forces of both great parties in Mary-
land in complete line, with the pros-
pects of a full vote very flattering. The
registration in all parts of the. state
has been phenomenal. a‘fact from
which both sides profess to derive
great. comfort. The organization of
both parties is 110w perfect and there
is no doubt that all the strict party
voters will adhere to their standard
bearers. The only elements of doubt
are the, number of gold Democrats who
are Opposed to Bryan and the labor
vote. Of the latter both sides are
claiming a prepondercucc. while there
are vast differences in the estimates
of the strength of the gold Democrats.
