Death of a Convict. .
Henry Kraus, a German, an inmate
' of the insane ward at the state prison
died at the institution yesterday after-
noon. Kraus was 30 years old and was
convicted of horse theft October 21st:
1896 and sentenced for three years. His
capture was made by Chief Vollmer. of
South Norwalk.
