As the approaching winter is one that is

Dr. Samuel Lynes has succeeded in a
most wonderful manner in restoring the
terrible wound and skull fracture inflicted
by the horse kick on the little daughter of
Wm.A. 'erKellogg There were several pie-
ces of the skull‘removeo, but Illie wound is

play,and without leaving any unsightly scar

We are indebted to the Hartford Port for

regard to various exemptions of preperty

into operation with the beginning of the
present year. The following will show the
old and the new exemptions. The assessors
