Tns Gas—The trouble with the supp];
of gas above Mill Hill was investigated early
last week by the officers of the company and
easily ascertained. The spot was "located"
without difficulty by Messrs. St. John and
Hanford, and upon digging up the pipe it
was four-d so badly clogged up, in_ one place.

since then the supply of gas has been about
as good in that region as elsewhere, and the'
