The nutmeg tree is! about thirty feet high,
resembling. an orange tree,mingled with the
pale yellow flowers; is the nut the size of a

at first thick and fleshy, and’filled with a
bitter astringent juice, afterwards becomes
dry, and separating into two halv es discloses

covering being rcj ected the mace is carefully
