It is very easy to say of this, or any other Hedlclno
“It in the very best: Remedy known." It: to not ll-
wnys no easy to prove it. It is, however, exceed-
ingly gratifying to the proprietor of this Hedi-
cine. that, while he declares to the public that thin
in amosl: wonderful and efl'ective Specific for Hu-
mors, as stated above, be has abundant proof at
hand to sustain him.
For sixteen years the Hinton Dom-on has been
manufactured and sold, and every year has lucreuled
the value of its reputation. and the umoutt of ltl
sales. In New Hampshire, where it was origina-
ted, no remedy for Humors is so highly prized. An
eminent physician (now an army surgeon.) when
practicing In N. H. purchased between any and nix-
ty gallons of it, during some seven or eight: yearn,
and used it in his practice. He has since then or-
dered it: for the Hospital where he was stationed.
Other physicians have purchased it, and have used
it iu'practice with perfect success. When the pro-
prietor lived in New Hampshire, at Goflstowu Con-
tre, for the space of thirty or forty miles around,
and in Manchester particularly, the Humor Doctor
was well known and highly valued for the numer—
ous and wonderful cures which it effected. Though
manufactured in large quantities, the supply wni
frequently exhausted, and purchasers had to Whit
for more to be made. In that region some very le-
vere cases of Erysipelas were treated with it, and
they were cured. Erysipclns sores, or Carbuuclel
those ugly painful ulcers, were entirely removed,
wherever this medicine was faithfully used. So it
was with Scrofuia and Salt Rheum. The Humor
Doctor cured them.
Since the Proprietor's removal to Meir-one. Maul“ ~
his present residence, he has been regulu'ly selling
it to patients who have applied to him in person,
and has been very successful in relieving and curing
them. One case of Erysipelas —of an old man 1'!
years—is worth mentioning in particular. When he
came to theDoctor-‘s office he could only went I poi:
of old rubber overshoes his feet and ankles were Io
swollen and sore. When he pulled off his socks the
scabs came with them, and the raw bleeding feet
were frightful to behold. Sumce it to say, that less
than one dozen bottles of the Humor Doctor (and In
a. few weeks) healed up those feet: and anklel, Io
that they were smooth and apparently sound. The
man wore boots without inconvenience. Numerous
cases of pimples in the face have been treated with
this medicine, to the entire eradication of them. In
Melrose alone, 'there are more than a hundred per-
sons who have used the Humor Doctor, and give ll.
an excellent name. In all the towns around it in
well known and approved.
