us, indicate the importance of a reviva
and efficient re-organization of the “ Non-
'VALK DETECTIVE SOCIETY." It is believed
that with the aid afforded by railroads and
telegraph, and by arrangements with 0ch
er detective organizations at different points,
the society may now be rendered for more
satisfactorily preventive and detective than
in its best days. A general attendance of
all interested in the preservation of property
and detection of thieves at a meeting to be
holden for the purpose of such negotiation
at the Rooms of the Nor'walk Insurance
Company, on Friday evening next at half
past seven, is particularly requested.
