ALL men who ‘desire to join any particu-
lar regiment of cavalry now in the field,
are hereby authorized to present themselves
at any time during the next 30 days to the
Board of Enrollment in their respective dia-
tricts. The Board shall examine them, and
determine upon their fitness for the service,
and if found to be fit,the Provost Marshal _of
the District shall give them transportation
tickets to the general rendezvous, at the head-
quarters ot the 'Acting Assistant Provost
Marshal General of the State. As soon as
they present themselves at this general ren-
dezvous, they shall be dul mustered by a
mustering and disbursingo cer, and paid by
him the bount allowed by law.

HE attention of all officers who have been
honorably discharged on account of
wounds or disability, and who desire to re-
enter the service in the Invalid Corps, is call-
ed to the provisions of General Orders No.
105, of 1863, from the War Department, pub-
lished in the papers throughout the country.
Such officers are requested to comply prompt-
ly with the provisions of that order, and to
send their written applications, as therein
provided, for positions in the Invalid Corps,
(stating the character of their disability) with
as little delay as possible, to the Acting As-
sistant Provost Marshal General of the tate
in which they may be. Such Acting Assist-
ant Provost Marshal General will at once
forward the applications, with his endorse-
ment, to the Provost Marshal General at
Washington. _ -‘
Officers for the Invalid Corps Will be ap-
pointed immediate] upon furnishin the pa-

try—MARION HARLAND, authoress of ‘Alone,’

‘Miriam,’ who will furnish a story for every
number of the Lady’s Book for 1863. This
alone will place the Lady’s Book in a lite-
rary point of view, far ahead of any‘other
magazine. Marion Harland writes for no
other puplication. Our other favorite writ-
era will all continue to furnish articles through
out the year. The best Ladies’ Magazine in
the world, and the cheapest—The literature
is of that kind that can be read aloud in the
family circle, and the clergy in immense num-

sic is all original, and would cost 25 cents

but most of it is copyrighted, and cannot be

rival us in our steel engravings have ceased,

Incidental to Soldiers.
Those feelings which so sadden us usually
arise from trouble or annoyances, obstructed
perspiration, or eating and drinking whatev-
er isunwholesome, thus disturbing the health
ful action Of the liver and stomach. These
organs must be relieved, if you desire to be
well. The Pills, taken according to the
printed instructions, will quickly produce a
healthy action in both liver and stomach, and
as a natural consequence a clear head and
good appetite.

upon. It may seem strange, that Holloway’s
Pills should be recommended for Dysentory
and Flux, many persons supposing that they

great mistake, for these Pills will correct the
liver and stomach, and thus remove all the
acrid rumors from the system. This medi-
cine will give tone and vigort‘o the whole
organic system, however deranged, while
health and strength follow as a matter of
course. Nothing will stop the relaxation of
the Bowels so sure as the famous medicine.
Volunteers, Attention ! Indiacretionor of
Youth.
Sores and Ulcers, Blotches and swellings,
can with certainty be radically cured, if the
