Norwalk War Iioan Bonds.
SEALED Proposals will be received by
the undersigned, at Norwalk, Conn, un-
til the 30th day of May, AD. 1863, for the
purchase of $20,000 of the Bonds of the Town
of Norwalk. These Bonds are issued by said
Town, in pursuance of an act of the General
Assembly of the State of Connecticut in
sums of $500 and $1,000 each, dated one
1st, 1863, hearing Six per cent. semi-an-
nual interest, with coupons attached, payable
on the first day of June and December, and
the Bonds to be made payable as follows :—
$4,000 to be paid on the first day of Decem-
ber, 1883, and $4,000 on each succeeding first
day of December, thereafter, until the whole
are paid and redeemed. -
Each Proposal must be accompanied by a
certified Check equal to Five per cent. of the
amount, of the bid, as security for the faithful
performance of the bid, (which bid must not
be for less than 10 per cent. premium.) and
must state the amount and class of Bonds
bid for. '
