1863, fbr the purchase of $20,000 of the
Bonds of the Town of Stamford. These
Bonds are issued by said Town in pursuance
of an Act of the General Assembly of the
State of Connecticut, in the sums of $1000
each, dated April 1, 1863, hearing six per
cent. annual interest, with coupons attached,
made payable as follows :—$4000 on the first
day of April, 1883, and $4000 in each suc-
ceeging year thereafter, until the whole are
pat .
Each proposal must be accompanied by a
certified check, equal to five per cent. of the
amount bid for, as security for the faithful
performance of the bid, and must state the
amount and class of Bonds bid for.
