of Probate for the District of Norwalk,
will be sold at Public Auction, to the high-
est bidder, on the 5th day of November, 1862,
at 2 o’clock, -in the afternoon, (unless prevr-
ousl disposed of at private sale,) so much of
the. cal Estate of WILLIAM MALLORY, late of
Norwalk, deceased, as will raise the sum of
$11,868.25, with incidental charges of sale.
Sale to take place at the late residence of
said deceased in said Norwalk.

Said Real Estate consists, First, of the
Homestead of said deceased, beautifully situ-
ated on East Avenue, commanding an exten-
sive and splendid prospect of Long Island
Sound, and comprises a first class dwelling
house, built by days work, with all the mod-

necessary out-buildings, all in good order.

THE application of WILLIAM S. TAY-
LOR, of Utica, in the State of New York,
respectfully showeth: that he is lawful Guar-
dian to GEORGIANNA W. TAYLOR and RE-
BECCA W. TAYLOR, Minors belonging to said
District, and that said Minors are the owners
of an undivided interest in the followin ' Real
Estate, situated in Norwalk, in said District,
to wit: one certain tract or parcelpf land,'_in
quantity, three roods, more or less, with the
buildings thereon standing, and bounded
northerly by land formerly owned by William
Wood, easterly and westerly by highway, and
southerly by land formerly owned by Horace
Taylor, deceased.
And he further says, that the Estate is at
present unproductive; that the avoils thereof
are wented for the support, maintenance and
education of said Minors, and that it will be
for the advantage of said Minors to sell the
same, and invest the avails thereof according
to law; wherefore, he says, that there is just
and reosonable cause for selling the same.
He therefore prays the Court to order said
Real Estate to be sold, and to empower him
or some other meet person to sell the same
pursuant to the Statute in such case made
