Notice-"A By-Iaw.
SEC. 1. Be it ordained by the Freeman of
the Town of Norwalk, that no person shall
be allowed to dredge or dray for OyStCl'Sl
the harbor or creeks of the Town of No -
walk, inside of the Norwalk Islands, between
the Westport town line on the East, and a
line running due North from. the West end
of the Island, known as Smiths Island on
the West. _
SEC. 2. Every person who shall wrilf‘nlly
or no rligently offend, by dredging or drag-
ing or Oysters within the hunts described
in the first section of this By-Law, shall,
upon conviction, be punished by a fine not
exceeding seven dollars for each and every
offence so committed, to be recovered before
any Justice of the peace of said Town, upon
the complaint of any informing Officer. One
half of which fine shall be paid to him who
shall inform of any breach of this By-Law,
and one half shall be paid into the treasury
of said Town of Norwalk. 3t36
