are hereby notified and warned, that a
Special Town Meeting will be held at the
Town House, in said Norwalk, on Friday;
the 10th day Of May, 1861, at 4 O’cloc ,
Alia-noon, for the following purposes, To
1 :-— .
To make provision for transporting from
Norwalk, citizens of said town volunteerin
for the service of the United States, to sue
places in this State as may be assigned by
the proper authorities; for paying tlie_board
and lodging of such volunteers while in
town, after their respective companies have
been filled; for paying for music bills incur-
red in organizing the Company already
formed, in said town; and such other ex-
pensesas may accrue from time to time as
the Committee appointed at a former meet-
ing may deem necessary in fitting out and
equiping Volunteers that may enlist in the
aforesaid service; and to furnish each of said
volunteers with a Revolver; and to lay any
tax, and to make any appropriations, and to
pass all votes necessary and proper to early
out the purpose aforesaid.
