will exclaim, “How got they there?”—
_."Simply as follows.’ The animals have
been hatched and have quitted their tad-

the frogs fell in the shower, and he saw
them fall ; frogs, visitors, countrymen,
editors are all pleased, and nobody unde-
ceives them, nor are they willing to be
undeceived. -

attacks of spasmodic asthma will receive
some reilef during the paroxyisms, by in-
haling fumes given off from burning pa-
per prepared with saltpctl‘e. The paper
should be loose and white, the some us
that used for absorbing ink blots, and
it should not contuin any fibres of wool.
Four ounces of snltpctre dissolved ill a
pint of water, makes a solution of sulfi—
eient strength for this purpose. The p.1-
pet is soaked in this for a few minutes,
then taken out and dried thoroughly. It
is Vth'en’cut into pieces of four inches square
and one or two pieces burned when re-
quired. . [Paper prepared ill this m-lllner
gives ou't'a considerable amount of free
oxygen gas ,wllen burned.
