DRYING orr.Cows.—As the season ap-
proaches when most of our dairy cows are
dried up, we would call attention to the
well-known necessity of removing all the
milk from the udder at the end of the
,time. Obstructions in the udder and
tests often arise the next season from a
neglect of this pro-caution. In regard to
,the length of time a cow should remain
dry, we think the calves are better if this
-i_s-allowed for several months, but to de-
