man wards gave 1,919 Republican major-

of New Haven, died in that city, Tuesday

,tbe Western reserve secured the electoral
vote of Ohio to Fremont, whose majority
in those counties was 21,212, while Bu-
chanan had 4,489 majority in all the rest
of the state. At the late election, how-
ever, the Republicans had 8,000 majority
independent of the reserve.

stockholders of the New Haven County
Bank. several new directors were chosen
to-fill the vacancies made by the resigna-
