water; also the Celebrated Drununond
Light, eclipsing lamps and gas, and actually
bewildering the eye; together with a Solar
Microscopp, magnifying more than 30 mil-
lions of times, and showing the process of
cryatalizatiou, the sap pores in vegetables,
and even the swarms of otherwise invisible
animal life in a drop of liquid. The Lectures
are illustrated with experiments throughout ;
and are delivered in plain language, always
necessary before a mixed audience.
