Other conditions of life there are. in which it revels
over failed and emaciated forms. di.-zpirited mi'd'despair-
ing lienrts. The sedentary labors of the counting
house and the study. not less than tlicintense excite -
mcnt and irregularities of tho busier occupations of
mercantile life, are promotive of it, each daily adding
to the number of its subjects.‘ But our, (that is, the
