the provisions of Chapter 1-ltli, Title 3d, of
the Revised Statutes of the State of Connecti-
cut. and of all acts in addition to. and in alte-

cles of agreement :
1st, The object of this Company shallbe the
manufacturing of Oil by distillation, and the
dealing in Oils, under the name of the Stam-
ford Oil Co. '
2d. The Capital Stock of said corporation
shall consist of Fifteen Thousand Dollars, in
shares of Twenty Five Dollars each—-Six Hun-
dred Shares. -
3d, The Olllcers of said Company shall be a
President, to be chosen by the Directors from
among their number, a Secretary and Treasu-
rer, and not more than five Directors, all of
whom shall be Stockholders in said Company.
The Directors shall be chosen by the Stock-
holders by ballot.
4th, Chapter 14th, Title 36, of the Revised
Statutes of this State shall constitute a part
of these ai-licle,s.'also all acts in addition to,
or alteration of‘ the same.
5th. Each of the undersigned hereby agrees

Caution to the Public.
There are no Ambrotypes taken in this
town except at the above named Gallery,
there are pictures taken on single glass styled
Ambrotypes, but are not such, they being on-
ly varnished on the back, and aie much more
perishable than the daguerreotype, as the var-
nish will soon crack and destroy the picture.
None are genuine unless hcrmetrically sealed
between plates of glass.
