NORWALK LOCK COMPANY.

E it known that we, the subscribers, do

hereby associate ourselves as a body pol-

itic andcorporate, pursuant to the provisions of

Chapter 14th, Title 3d of the revised Statutes

of the State of Connecticut, entitled “ Of Joint

Stock Corporations,” and the following are our
articles of association and agreement.

Am. I. The name of the said Corporation
shall be the NORWALK LOCK COMPANY.

Am‘. 11. The Capital Stock of the said Cor-
poration shall be Fifty Thousand Dollars, and
shall be divided into Two Thousand Shares, of
Twenty-Five Dollars each share.

Airr. III. The purpose for which said corpo-
ration is established, is the following, to wit :
To manufacture all kinds of Iron Castings,
Door Locks and Latches, House and Furniture
Trimmings, and Hardware generally ; to buy,
sell -and deal in all things necessary for estab-
lishing and carrying on said business, either
on Commission or otherwise, and generally to
do all things incidental to said business and
necessary for the management of the same,
having power to purchase, hold and sell all
Real Estate necessary to establish and adva.n_-
tageously carry on said business.

Am‘. IV. The Statute Law of the State’ of
Connecticut relating to Joint Stock Corpora-
tions is hereby particularly referred to and
made part of these articles; and this corpo-
ration hereby established and organized under
and pursuant to the said Statute Law shall
have the powers and proceed according to the
regulations prescribed and specified therein.

Aar. V’. Each subscriber to these articles
agrees to take the number of Shares annexed
to his name, of the Capital Stock of said Corpo-

..-ration, each share to be Twenty-five Dollars,
as aforesaid, and to be paid for by instalments
us the Directors of said Corporation shall call
in the same.

and located in the Town of Norwalk. County
of Fairfield, and State of Connecticut.

Diseases of the Throat & Lungs.

The method of treatment introduced and
practised by Dr. HUNTER, in Consumption,
Bronchitis, Asthma, and Chronic Inflammation
of the Lungs, consists in the administration of
Medicines by

INHALATION.

The Medicines adapted to the case are re-
duced to vapor. and breathed or inhaled into
the Lungs, thus bringing them into immediate
contact with the deceased air passages. The,
vaporization and inhaling are effected by an
" Inhaler,” prepared for the purpose, and also
by burning Pastiles and chemical reunion, in
which latter case, the air of the patients room
is impregnated with medicated vapors, and in-
haled in natural respiration.

The application of medicines to the very
seat of the disease is not only a rationalscien—
tific and successful method of treatinent, but
the only one to which the consumptive invalid

can look for recovery.

In chronic affections of the Lungs, there is
no difficulty attending the treatment of cases
by correspondence, and for the convenience of
those wishing to consult Dr. Huxrnu be has
prepared a list'of questions which will be for-
warded to them on request, these carefully
answered, will enable him to prescribe and
send them Medicines and Inhaling instrument
by Express.

The empiricisms practised under the name
of Inhalation, have induced Dr. Hunter to es-
tablish, for the better explanation of his views
and practice, a medical paper, entitled, the
“ Specialist, and Journal of Diseases of the
Chest,” in which_will be found a full descrip-
tion of the nature, causes, prevention and cure
of all affections of the Throat and Lungs. It
is published by Sherman & Co., Astor House,
