Of the New Haven Copper Company.
Be it known that we, the subscribers, have
associated, and do hereby associate ourselves
as a body politic and corporate, under the
name of the New Haven Copper Company,
pursuant to the provisions of the 14th Chapter
of Title 3d of the Statutes of the State of Con-
necticut, entitled“ Of Joint Stock Corpora-
tions,” aud of all Acts in addition or alteration
thereof; and the following are our articles of
agreement and association.
Anr. I. The name of said Corporation shall
be the New Haven Copper Company.
Am. 11. The Ca ital Stock of said Corpora-
tion shall be Three undred Thousand Dollars,
and said Capital Stock shall be divided into
Twelve Thousand Shares, of Twenty-Five Dol-
lars each share.
Aar. III. The purpose for which said corpo-
ration is established, is thc following, to wit :
to purchase and deal in Copper and other met-
als and ores, and of smelting. refining and
rolling the same, and of manufacturing Cop-
per, Brass, Yellow-metal, Zinc, Lead and other
metals, in any manner or form which they
shall deem expedient and advantageous, and
to buy and sell all articles necessary to or
convenient for, or connected with said busi-
ness, er the prosecution of the same.
Ans. IV. The said 14th Chapter of Title 3d,
of said Statutes, entitled of Joint Stock Cor-

teration of the same, are hereby particularly
referred to and made part of these articles:
