Second Year.
RRANGEMENTS for the Second Annual
Collection of this new and popular Insti-
tution for the diifusion of Literature and Art,
have been made on the most extensive scale.
Among the works already engaged, is the
far-famed
“ Genoa Crucifix,”
which originally cost Ten Thousand Dollars.
Ih forming the new Collection the diffusion
of works of Aimaicix Am-.and the encourage-
ment of American genius, have not been over-
looked. Commissions have been issued to
many of the most distinguished American Ar-
tists. who will contribute some of their finest
reductions. Among them are three Marble
usts, executed by the greatest living Sculpt-

The payment of three dollars constitutes
any one a member of this Association, and
entitles him to either one of the following
Magazines for one year. and also a ticket in
the distribution of the Statuary and Paintings.
The Literature issued to subscribers consists
ofthe following Monthly Magazines: H-.irper-‘s,
Putnum’s, Knickerbocker, Blackwood’s, Gra-
ham’I, Godey~‘s Lady’s Book, and Household
Words.
Persons taking five memberships are entitled
to any five of the Magazines f'or one year and
to air ticket: in the distribution.
The net proceeds derived from the sale of
memberships, are devoted to the purdhase of
works of Art for the ensuing year.
