Universal Exhibition of Industry
and Art at Paris, May, 1855.
Our readers have seen notices, from
time to time, of the great Industrial Ex-
hibition of all nations, which will open
in Paris, in lV’lay, under the auspices of
the French Government. It will be of
the same universal character as that of
London, in 1851, and is generally under-
stood that no pains or expensE will be
spared by the French Government, to
make it in all respects equal and if possi-
ble superior in its attractions, to that got
under the patronage of the British Gov-
ernment. To give Connecticut Exhibi-
tors an opportunity of informing them-
selves as to the mode of forwarding arti-
cles, and to obtain an official report of
