This is a discovery which most persons have
reason to doubt. Human ingenuity has sought
for years to perfect a hair liquid that would
curl and waive it,-and one that should com-
bine the requisites to give the hair D. beautiful
natural tint, and at the same time not injure it.
All former attempts have failed. The com-
pounds would curl the hair, but they would
scorch, burn and turn it foxy. Now, however,
the thing has been accomplished ; and the

Louis Garvey and Byron H. Robb offer to the
public may be relied upon as a preparation
compounded on recently discovered chemical
principles, which have received the sanction of
the most eminent professors of that science.-

ringlets that the most credulons person cannot
but admire them. It does not destroy the vi-
tality of the hair, but acts as an emollient;
does not irritate or strain the cuticle ' warms

ceptible branches in a natural activity, and
