Frames ever Imicrzted.
THE subscribers have purchased the right to
Nim’s Patent Window for this county, and
are now prepared to furnish the same to build-
ers in this or the adjoining towns, or to sell the
right to make and use, if preferred. The im-
provement consists in the application of springs
which press outward upon the sash with sulfi-
cient force to retain it in any position. It also
prevents rattling—the entrance of dust or rain,
and is much cheaper and better every way than
weights. The sash is easily removed also, with-
out drawing nails, or marring in any way the
point. They can be seen at the shop of the sub-

These Ships are the most magnificent that
have been built. They are commanded by able
and experienced Captains, famed for their nau-
tical skill and kind treatment to emigrants ; and
tliciraccommodatioiis for Cabin, Second Cabin,
and Stecrage passengers, are vastly superior to
those of any other Line.
The Ship’s allowance of provisions comprises
flour, oat-nieal, bread potatoes, peas or beans,
rice and vinegar, which is dealt out to the pas-
sengers once or twice a week during the voy-
age, at the rate 10 1-2 lbs. per week for each
adult, and half allowance for children under 12
years; and in addition to the above, a further
allowance, according to a late act of the Brit-
ish parliament, two oz. tea, half lb. sugar, and
half lb. molasses, to each adult, weekly, with
three quarts water daily. In all cases where
any of the persons paid for decline coming out,
the full passage money is returned without any
deduction.
Persons residing in the country that desire to
send money to their friends in the Old Country,
and wishing to save time, and expense, can
have it done in a satisfactory, and correct man-
ner, by enclosing by Post, to the subscribers,
the sum they wish to send, with the name and
address of the party who is to_ receive it, when
a draft on the nearest Branch to their residence
will be forwarded by the first steamer with as
much punctuality as if the person sending it was
present, and a receipt returned for the money
by next mail.
