These Ships arethe most magnificent that
have yet been built. They are commanded
by able and experienced Captains, famed for
their nautical skill and kind treat.ment to emi-
grants; and their accommodations for Cabin,
Second Cabin,_ and Steeraa_e Passengers, are
vastly superior to those of any other Line.
The Ship's allowance of Provisions compri
ses flour, oat-meal, bread, potatoes, peas or
beans, rice and vinegar, which is dealt out to
the passengers once or twice ii week during
the voyage, at the rule of 10$ lbs. per week
for each adult, and half allowance for children
under twelve years; and in addition to the
above, a fuitlier allowance, according to a late
act of the Boitish Parliament. of two oz. lea,
half lb. sugar, and half lb. molasses, to each
adult. weekly, with three quarts water daily.
In all cases where any of the persons paid for
decline coming out, the fi.ill passage money is
returned without any deduction.
Persons residing in the country that desire
to send money to their friends in the Old Coun-
try, and wishing to save time and expense, can
have it done in a sal.isfactory, and correct
manner, by enclosing by Post. to the subscri-
bers, the sum they wish to send. with the
name and address of the party who is to re-
ceive it. when a draft on the nearest Branch
to their residence will be forwarded by first
steamer with as much panctuallly as if the
person sending it was present, and a receipt
returned for the money by next mail.
