For about twenty years I had been suffering from Dys-
pepsia. Every year the symptoms became worse, nor could.
lobtain permanent relief from any course of medical treat-:
ment whatever. About fnurleen years since, in consequence
ol' frequent exposure to the weather, in the discharge of my
pastoral duties, I became subject to a severe Clirninc Rheu-
matism, which for year after year, caused me indescribable
anguish. Fartlier: in the winter of ’-15 and ‘-15, in conse-
quence of preacliing a great deal in my own and various
other chnrclies in this region, I was attacked by the Bron-
chitis, which soon becaiiie so severe as to require an imme-
diate suspension of my pastoral labors. My nervous systerni
