Mr. S. is, I think, a "native of Southport, in
Faii-field Co., and you may well be proud of
him there.

one of the most successful and promising Den-
tists in this city, and perhaps in the State. By
his superior skill, eiierg i and untiring industry
he has already won his way into public favor,
and obtainad ii position which men ofyears of
standing might ardently wish to occupy. In
his demeanor he is a perfect gentleman, and in
his practice—if not a perfect operator. he ap-
proaches a degree of superiority which cvinces
no ordinary ability. \Vliile on the one hand
he keeps pace with all the improvomeiits, and
adopts every invention of real utility and im-
portance, he does not endorse every new theo-
ry of. illiterate and bungling operators, who
may have taken up the profession as a last re-
sort to impose upon public Screduliiy.
In his charges. Dr. M. is reasonable and
always accommodating. He is now about to
remove his residence to No. 4 St. John's Place,
which is one of the pleasiiiitest locations in the

supporters were on his official bond. So says
the N. Y. Tribune.
