Vefy large meeting was held in the Broad-
way Tabernacle on Monday evening last,
to respond to the sentiments of-Henry
Clay on the War. A strong sympathy
with the objects ofthe meeting prevailed,

worm in animadversion upon the origna
tors of the War, but this was swallowed
up in the overwhelming approbation of the
