reptiously taken from the plate of the
New Haven Bank, and put into circulation
with spurious signatures and filling up,
there appeared on the 28th inst. fives and
twos of the some character. Those Seen
are dated 1st January, 1846.
The bank are now issuing lives from a
new plate, and have other new plates
ready; from which they will issue notes
to supplant their present circulation as
soon as possible. Hereafter they will pay
out no notes from those old plates.
