I am not given to puffiiig the various nos-
triims of the day into existence, or raise my
voice in their favor, yet the serious conviction
that yours is one of intriiisic merit, and a real
benefit to the afllicted, induces me to offer my
humble testimony. I am now fifty six years of
age, and have been afflicted with Rlieiiinatisin
for the last ten years. In April last I caught a
very severe cold, which increased my rlieiiniatic
pains, so that I was confined to the house. I
employed my family physician, who attended
me until the first of May, without releiving me
at all. » In fact I grew worse, and so much so. I
was confined to my bed. I continued in this
way for nearly two months, sufferiiig every
thing but death—un-able to sleep, raisemy arms,
or move, without suffering the most excrutiating
pain. A friend of mine called upon me, who
had been cured with
ROAKE’S IODINE LINIMENT,
‘induced me to try it, which I did. The first ap-
plication gave me relief. I continued to apply
it according to directions, and in twelve hours
was completely relieved from pain. I continued
to use it until I had used two bottles, which ef-
fected ii perfect cure. I have had no returns of
the pains since, and have attended daily to my
iiiechanical business. 1 would not be without it
under any consideration, and advise all those
who are thus afllicted to try it, knowing it to be
the only remedy that; can be relied on.
