_ A Plot of ground ofregular form, (an
0 ' oblong) embracing 30 acres with a
. _ broad level front on the Danbury,
road, about 3 1-2 miles from the borough ofNor-
walk, is offered for sale ata price which will
render it an object. for a person having the means
and wishing to procure a small farm for the pur-
pose of elegant improvement. On the premises
is some six or eightacres of wood and timber,
some fruit, under good fence and in a high state
of cultivation. There is not a place on this road
and few in the vicinity, that lies so favorably,
that can be obtained on so easy terms. Any

CUTENESS:—-A YANKEE IN DISTRESS.
A few days since a raw-loolvitig genius,
carrying a cheap hair truiik, made his ap-
pearance. on board a sloop which plies be-
tween New York and a small port
on the Connecticut coast, and inquired for’
the captain.

pearance a perfect specimen of a fresh,
caught Yankee. He wore a mixed coat of
