There is another similar natural ice house in
New Haven county. lt is in the cave ofa moun-
tain, in the town of Mcriden, about eighteen
miles from the city ofNew Haven where ice may
be seen at all seasons ofthe year. The spot is
regarded asagreat curiosity and is often fre-
quented.
