New Haven Railroad Ccmpatiy, in the follow-

lay their road across either the Saugatuck or
Norwallt Rivers below the head of tide wttter,
or for some other provision to guard the rights
and interests ofthe public interested in the nav-
igation ofsaid streams. Also, to provide for
taxingthe stock of nonresident stockholders.-
Also. that the tolls or charges'Io be assessed by
said company for the transportation of persons
or property, shall be a uniform rate per mile
for all. distances. Also, that in all cases where
the Superior Court appoint a Committee to
assess the damage t'o those whose rights are af-
fected by said road, the report ofsaid committee
shall be made to such Court which shall have
power to revise the doings of said committee
