ting to Guardians and Minors.

minors to render their accounts against their

ance oftheir giiardiatiship: "and in case any
guardian shall have neglected to render his ac-
count and statement as aforesaid. it shall be the
duty of said court to make order therefor.
Sec. 2. Be it further cnac'crl. That wlien-
ever it shall appear, on the atljustrnent of the
account ofany guardian as aforesaid. that there
is a balance of the money ufthe ward in the
hands ofsur-.h guardian. it shall be the duty of
the Court of Probate to order such guardian to
place the same at interest. in the name of the
ward, on good mortgage security of at least
double the value oflhe amount lent on such
mortgage, or by deposite in some Savings
Bank in this State, or L; lay out the saute in the
nurluro, education or advancenient in marriage
ofsuch minor. as the Court of Probate shall di-
rccl or approve, and to render his account thereof
atsuch times as such court shall prescribe.
