‘ HEREAS the General Assembly of this
State. at the session thereof, holden at
Hartford, in May. A. D. 1843, passed the fol-
lowing act, to wit: ,
An act in -addition to an act entitled an act rela-
ting to Guardians and Minors.
Sec. 1. Be it rnactcdbg/the Senate and House
of R:-prcscnlaticcs in Gmcrat Assembly conven-
ec£- That it shall be the dut.y ofall guardians of
minors to render their accounts against their
wards for adjustment. together with the particu
lars oftlte estate of such words before the courts
of Probate respectively having ‘cognizance there
of, at least once every year during the continu-
ance oftlicir guardianship: and in case any
guardian shall have neglected to render his ac-
count arid statement as aforesaid, it shall be the
duty of said court to make order therefor.
Sec. 2. Be it further enac’e(1. That when-
ever it shall appear, on the adjustment of the
account ofany guardian as aforesaid, that there
is a balance of the money ofthe ward in the
hands ofsuclt guardian. it shall be the duty of
the Court ofProbate to order such guardian to
place the same at interest, in the name of the
ward, on good mortgage security of at least
double the value ofthe amount lent on such
mortgage. or by deposite in some Savings
Bank in this State. or to lay out the same in the
nurture, education or advancement in marriage
ofsuch rriinor. as the Court of Probate shall di-
rcct or approve, and to render his account thereof
at such times as such court shall prescribe.
Sec. 2. 'l‘liat all persons appointed by the
who have sold the same, shall render to the
Court of Probate, once in each year. ltis or her
account against his or her ward, together with
the particulars ofilie fund or property in his or
her hands. And if the person so authorized to
sell shall neglect annually to render such ac-
cotint, it shall be the duty of said Court to make
an order directing him or her so to render his
or her account.
Sec. 4. All conservators appointed by th
Court of Probate or County Court, shall render
'annuat|y to the Court where they were respect-
ively appointed, his or her account with his or
her ward. and ofthe partictilar situation of the
ward's estate. Approved, Jtrne 2. 1843.
It is therefore ordered by the court of Probate
for the District of Norwalk, that all Guardians
and Coiiscrvators. appointed by said Court who
have not complied with the provisions and re-
quirements ofthe foregoing ‘act ,' within one year
next before the date of this order. render to this
Court their accotirits and statements. as by said
act required. on or before the 20th day of De-
cember. A. D. 1843, and on their neglecting so
to do, that they be severally and respectively
cited thereto. according to law.

tacked with a violent and profuse hcmorrage
from the lungs, severe cough with the expecta-
ration of mtich' mucus. pains in the head, sore-
ness in the chest. and other distressing symptoms
bought a bottle of Dr. Taylors Balsam of
Liverwurt, from 475 Bowery, which under the
blessing of Providence, gave me immediate
relief. Its effect has been such in my case, that
I cannot praise it too highly.
