introduced from abroad with those which have

that the prices paid by some members ofour
community to foreign dealers have ranged
considerably above those for which the uiider-
signed have been in the habit of furnishing the

HE subscriber has been agent for the sale of
this valuable medicine a number ofyears,
and no donor has been the means of saving
many a life. lfit was not for the many news-
paper pufls constantly coining before the public,
1 wouldjust state a few cases of remarkable
cures which have come under my observation.
One Ithink I may be excused in mentioning as
it is so very important at this season when our
village is visited by so many strangers from the
cities, some ofthem bringing with them that
'drcaded disease, the small pox. A person
was taken unwell, and had every symptom of
that loathsome disease. His friends were alarm’d
and began to make preparation to leave the tin-
fortunate sufferer to his fate when he, knowing
-where to find a remedy. prevailed on them to
repair to my shop and purchase a box of these
Pills, and strange—'no. not strange—before one
box was taken. the disease gave way, and in a
few hours he was about the village looking as
smooth as if no such disease had ever attacke.l

ment, but cotne immediately on the first inti-
