ing predisposed to consumption, both from pc-
culiar forrnation and liereditary transmission, I
tried every means to check this disizise, and
strengthen a iiiturally weak constitution. I
snent two years at Pisa, one in Rome. two in
Florence, and another in the south of France,
seeking, meantime. the advice of the best phy-
siciaus. Two years since I returned to this
country in about the same situation as when I
left. I had seen in the reading: rooms of Eu
rope much said in favor of Dr. T-.tylor’s Balsam
of Liverwort, and as soon as I arrived in this
city, I used it, and in three months I was so
well I concluded I could safely pass the winter
here, and did so. I have used an occasional
bottle now and than during the time. but am
now in as good health as possible. My cough
has wholly ceased. and my lungs li-es every
feeling of health. Dr. G. Smith, and Dr. Post,
of this city, were my pbysici.-ins, and now say

tue. as was alleged, ofa power ofattoruey, giv-
en by Dr. 'I‘aylor. out which be had never seen
no more than he had the person professing to
act under such authority. We have conversed
with the genilemnnly proprietor oftlie Balsam
ofLiverwgrt, 375 Bowery. who has been known
to us as the advertiser and vender oftbis medi-
cine for seven years past, and who is still at the
same place-..—and he has given us the most
complete testimonials of his right. and that all
