Burritt, of 12 Gold st. -ew ho displayed to us a number of documents purporting to have been signed by the identical George Taylor, whose name the medicine in question bears,giving him authority not_oiily to sell the medicine-—but auihority to him alone; and further to use and sign his name for all pur- poses coiinccted with the Balsam of Liverwori. \Ve are now perfectly satisfied that the said George Taylor never gave Burritt the use of his signature, at any time, or under any circuni- staticcs. \Ve are also satisfied, and the more so after the perusal of Burritt‘s documentary humhug, that the only place to get the genuine article ol'Taylor’s Balsam of Liverwort, is at 375 Bowery. \Ve believe the original recipe is there—and there only.
